A group of dedicated parents is trying to make sure the 3rd Grade Conservation Site program happens this year. There are several ways we can all pitch in and help raise funds. Fundraising Update
Less than a week to go until the Cody Rivers Benefit Fundraiser @ the Mt. Baker Theater on Sunday. To date, we have sold approximately 300 tickets. This venue can hold 1500! Please, spread the word and lets fill the space. We can raise $12,000-$19,000 with this single fundraiser!
Cody Rivers Show Benefit Fundraiser – Sunday January 24 @ the Mt. Baker Theatre
Purchase online, by phone, or through your school’s parent organiztion. Show description: It is entitled “Right Back Where We Finished,” and it is like running a marathon while doing algebra and eating cake. Suitable for all ages. www.codyrivers.com
Ocean Kayak Raffle
Ocean Kayak has generously donated a kayak package to the Carl Cozier PTA to help raise funds for Conservation Site. We’d like to offer your school the opportunity to sell tickets and keep 100% of your ticket sales for your school’s Conservation Site fund. We have 1000 tickets available and tickets are $5 each. Winner will receive an Ocean Kayak Malibu Two XL, paddles and two life jackets. Value of this package is nearly $1000. The drawing will be held at the Cody Rivers Benefit Fundraiser at the Mt. Baker Theatre on Sunday, January 24. Need not be present to win.
Dining to Donate @ Applebee’s
Dine at the Bellingham Applebee’s on Sunday, January 24 and 15% of your bill will be donated to the Third Grade Conservation Site! All you need to do is pick up an Applebee’s flyer from the school office and give it to your server when you dine. Can’t get an easier than that! Enjoy a meal at Applebee’s before or after the Cody Rivers Show. Thank you Applebee’s!
NEW Singer/songwriter Mikaela Seegers concert – Kulshan Middle School eighth-grade student Mikaela Seegers, who visited the Conservation Site as a third-grader, will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the school, 1250 Kenoyer St. Tickets are $5 with all proceeds going to the fundraising effort.
